This event will give you tools to use throughout the Retreat Weekend to alleviate any tension and keep your body in balance.

Discover a powerful and ancient form of meditation exercises that will help you create an internal environment of peace and healing. Discover the process of rolling your muscles using therapy balls. Relief is possible with myofascial release, using simple techniques you can integrate and carry into your current routine. Your self-massage session will target deep into your high-tension areas and can increase your range of motion, ease muscle pain and support muscle recovery. Practices such as yoga and meditation have become increasingly popular for those in search of peace of mind. While these modalities offer many wonderful benefits, one of the core elements of these practices is breathwork and its ability to bring the mind and body back into balance. During this event, you will explore the mindful use of breathing practices as a means for promoting a healthy mind and body. Overthinking, agitation, stress and fear lead to dysregulated breathing patterns and, vice versa, suboptimal breathing habits promote challenging physical, emotional and mental states. When consciously applying breathing practices, you will rest more naturally in mind and body and allow greater ease in your daily life.​
